Infrastructure System Administrator

36 Hour

Start your career at Printforce

We’re looking for an (experienced) System Administrator for a full-time role—someone for whom keeping systems running smoothly is more than just a way to make a living. You take pride in maintaining internal systems according to best practices, you’re flexible, and you don’t have a strict nine-to-five mindset.

About Printforce

Printforce is an innovative player in graphic media and print-on-demand. From our site in Culemborg, we serve publishers worldwide with zero-inventory print solutions and smart automation.

Our strength lies in speed, customisation, and scale. We’re constantly evolving—and that calls for a strong IT team.

What you’ll do?

As a System Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimising our internal IT environment—installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Windows and Linux systems to ensure stability, security, and future-readiness.

You’ll work in a team of 12 colleagues (including 3 system & network administrators) on a wide range of tasks—from day-to-day support to executing migrations. You’re not afraid to take ownership and enjoy contributing improvement ideas.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Installing, configuring, and managing Windows and Linux servers
  • Providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-line support (incl. monitoring and incident analysis)
  • Contributing to optimisation and capacity planning
  • Managing back-ups and disaster recovery scenarios
  • Executing migrations, updates, and security measures
  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure

What we’re looking for?

You’re an experienced IT professional with a sharp eye for stability and scalability. Analytical, self-reliant, and a strong communicator.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking (HBO)
  • 4+ years of experience in system administration
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux
  • Knowledge of networking, back-ups, monitoring, and security
  • Knowledge of Azure, Cisco, and container technologies (nice to have)
  • Strong command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • Full-time availability

What do we offer?

  • A full-time role in a future-oriented organisation
  • A fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
  • Market-competitive salary and solid secondary benefits
  • Room for training and personal growth via a learning plan
  • An informal, technically strong team that pulls together
